Hello! I’m Denis (he/him), and this is my web site.

Every Sunday, I publish my week­notes, in which I write about creativity, mental health, work, hobby projects, and more. Read my last entry, String of bad luck (published April 14, 2024).

I’m a software engineer by trade. In the past, I’ve worked for SoundCloud, BCG Digital Ventures, Pitch, Shopify, and others. I created Nanoc, a mature static-site generator written in Ruby, and led the implementation of closecontact, a former COVID-19 contact-sharing solution for Berlin clubs.
